Many thanks to everyone who has given for the refugee project transportation. The team is thrilled to be able to make it out to the prospective build sites for the new school in the Sinjar region as well as over the rough roads to the refugee camp.
Being present is such an important part of the work that our team does in Iraq. Meeting with school officials, camp officials, and students in the school keeps our team well informed and able to help as needs arise. Sometimes it’s something physical, like a photocopier. But sometimes it’s more personal and our team is able to offer a listening ear and encouragement to persevere through the severe trials of being displaced and traumatized.
Please pray for our team working with refugee projects. May they have wisdom, strength, perseverance, and creativity. May they be comforted as they face so much grief every day.
