Do you love soccer? Are you looking for a 3-week adventure you’ll never forget?
We are excited about a new opportunity to send a team of 2-4 guys to Iraq this fall to plan and implement a soccer camp for kids from rural villages in Northern Iraq.
We’ve been sending teams to Iraq for 26 years now and are working closely with one of our national partners to make a difference in the lives of those who have lost so much as a result of ISIS.
Join us for 3 weeks this fall (dates a bit flexible) to coach and mentor young men whose lives were uprooted by ISIS. In the process, you will experience a fascinating and hospitable culture and learn if serving in the Middle East is something you are made for.
Applicants should have experience coaching soccer teams or camps, have a strong recommendation from their local church, and have a heart to serve Christ in a tough area.
Important Information:
- Team: 2-4 young men (18 or older) who already know each other and can work together.
- Schedule: 3 weeks, Fall 2019 (dates flexible) including 2 days of team orientation in Nashville.
- Finances: Team members will raise personal support for trip costs. (Est. $3150 per person)
