From a Sew For Hope graduate and advanced student:

Before I joined Sew For Hope I was a housewife who lacked self-confidence and was always depressed. I really wanted to work, but it was not possible because I have a baby until my friend’s proposal to me to join Sew For Hope. I learned so much sewing and fun. They were nice women and help us also they help me. I found a job working at home. I met Morgan Factory, which is owned by Morgan, a very kind, cute girl, no matter how much money I can make. I love doing it. I love sewing. Thank you. ~A

And then from the Morgan Factory:

Growth – It’s been over 1 year working with these beautiful women. Wow, one year. I cannot even begin to tell you how my business has grown as well as myself as a person. I have learned how to teach and what kind of boss not to be 😜. I remember the butterflies in my stomach meeting them! I cannot wait to see what is next for us.

PURPOSE – I am so thankful for Sew for Hope and how they teach refugees basic sewing knowledge and valuable life skills to help them adapt to our country. I kept hearing about this organization and how it could help me… our partnership was inevitable so when the time was right- I jumped and I prayed (only to break an ankle 😝) I am beyond blessed to be giving purpose and hope. Giving really is just as great a receiving. It is giving me purpose I never dreamed of. I want to be able to hire hundreds of refugees and I won’t stop until I get there! After all, The Morgan Factory has tripled in size (or more) and its year one! So hang with me ladies.

LOVE- I see friendship in this photo. S and A are not from the same place, but they have made a lifelong bond here. They help each other understand and will lend their machine if one is broken. They are selfless. Anytime someone is cooking they insist on feeding me ( how could I refuse YUM!) Both are mothers and hard workers! There are 7 kids between them! They have taught a single girl like me what it means to sacrifice and care for a family, and be the woman of the household.
We love you! ❤️
