South Nashville is home to many refugee women who would love the chance to get out and exercise, practice their English, and make a new friend.

Grab your walking shoes and join us Saturday mornings this spring at Coleman Park for Walk & Talk.

Opportunities for exercise and fellowship are very limited for these ladies, so plan to join us and help make a difference in the lives of our newest neighbors.

We will meet as a group 3 Saturday mornings this Fall at Coleman Park, plus one Saturday morning for orientation. While walking, you’ll get to help ladies practice the English skills they’ve been learning in class. Most importantly, you’ll get to meet a new neighbor and make a new friend.

Orientation/Training Meeting

Saturday, April 7 (10:00 – 11:30 am)

We’ll talk about building Christ-centered friendships with refugees, discuss cultural considerations, and give you some simple tools to start the conversation and keep it going. Orientation will be at SGI’s office: 506 Tanksley Avenue, Nashville, TN 37211 (This is mandatory unless you attended the orientation for the last Walk and Talk program.)
