Help Refugee Kids Go to School
There are over 3.4 million refugees now living in Turkey, making Turkey the host country with the largest population of refugees in the world. Most of these people live outside camps in various cities and towns across the country.
Given how long these wars have been going on, most of these kids are getting their first opportunity to go to school now as some Turkish public schools have opened their doors to refugee kids.
All they need are basic school supplies to help them get started!
We are partnering with a local church that is currently walking alongside these families to provide these basic school supplies in a backpack.
Each set will include a backpack, notebooks, pencils, pens, an eraser, and colored pencils. Older students will also get the geometry ruler set that is required by the school. The cost to purchase one of these sets is $15. With your help, we will be able to help 100 refugee kids start school!
