Last year thousands of families in Iraq lost their homes to ISIS and fled to nearby refugee camps. Our teams in Iraq have been working hard to love and serve these families.

Today, ISIS has been pushed back and we are excited to help the first of these families return to their homes. To help, we’re going to build a new school for 200 children in the town of Osefa at the base of Mount Sinjar, Iraq.

Our goal is to raise $45,000 this Christmas and begin building the school in January. If you can help with a special year-end gift, please click here!

UPDATE: As of January 1, 2016 we have raised $43,000 of the the $45,000 needed to build the school. We’d also like to raise an additional $20,000 to provide a sturdy 4-wheel drive vehicle for our team to travel with supplies back and forth along the rough roads.
